The call follows NEF breakfast meetings held in July 2026 in Windhoek and Walvis Bay, where employers, business associations and labour-relations practitioners considered the extensive reform agenda facing Namibia.

The central message emerging from the engagement was that employers cannot afford to respond to each proposal separately or only after legislation has reached an advanced stage.

Business needs a coordinated, evidence-based voice to explain how proposed measures will operate in practice and what their combined effect will be on enterprises and employment.
