Namibia reaffirms Russia ties

Namibia has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Russia, with a particular focus on trade, investment, industrialisation, agriculture and value addition.

The commitment was reiterated by Minister of International Relations and Trade Selma Ashipala-Musavyi during a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Windhoek last week to commemorate Russia Day, the National Day of the Russian Federation.

The minister highlighted the longstanding friendship and growing cooperation between Namibia and Russia.
