ONDANGWA – The Ondangwa Town Council has completed the first phase of its N$14 million Wastewater Treatment Plant project.

Ondangwa Town Council spokesperson Petrina Shitalangaho-Mutikisha said the completion of the first phase is a significant achievement for both the council and the affected communities.

“For years, residents have lived with the fear and uncertainty of sewage water overflowing into their homes during heavy rains. Today, we are pleased that critical interventions have been put in place to substantially reduce these risks and provide peace of mind to our communities,” she said.
