Lightning strike kills man in Keetmanshoop

Staff Reporter AN unnatural death incident was reported after a 57-year-old man was fatally struck by lightning. According to the weekend crime bulletin, the incident happened on Friday, 24 April 2026, at about 18:30 behind P.K. School, Keetmanshoop. It is alleged that Charles Henry Gaweseb, aged 57, was struck by lightning while walking with his daughter and three dogs.
