Namibia recorded more than half a million cyber vulnerabilities between April and June this year, prompting the Namibia Cyber Security Incident Response Team (Nam-CSIRT) to urge organisations to tighten their cybersecurity measures as threats continue to escalate.

Communication Regulatory Authority of Namibia chief executive Emilia Nghikembua, in a statement released on Wednesday, says the increase highlights the need for organisations to address exposed services, protect digital identities, install security updates promptly and report incidents early.
