A 78-YEAR-OLD Namibian male, identified as Kleophas Tourob, died after he fell into an open hole in Henties Bay.
According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, the incident happened on Friday, 14 August 2026, at approximately 22:50 at Henties Bay Clinic, Henties Bay.
It is alleged that the deceased was walking along Hardap Street, Henties Bay, when he fell into a hole. He was subsequently transported by his family to Henties Bay Clinic, where he was examined by a nurse and declared dead upon arrival.
The deceased’s body was transported to Swakopmund State Hospital for doctor’s certification and storage.
Next of kin were informed. Police investigations are ongoing.
