Diverse group of learners visiting the UN in Windhoek started realising how much they have in common

A group of 140 first-time visitors attended a gathering at the UN campus in Klein Windhoek earlier this month to participate in a session of information sharing and cultural exchange. The group, comprising learners only, represented six different schools. They participated in the annual UN4U and SDC Educational Outreach.

The schools present included A.I. Steenkamp Primary School, Bet-El Primary School, Elim Primary School, Goreangab Junior Secondary School, Jan Jonker Afrikaner Secondary School and Windhoek International School.

United Nations Resident Coordinator Hopolang Phororo challenged the learners to think about the changes they would like to see in their communities.
