Proceedings were repeatedly disrupted as Speaker of the National Assembly Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila struggled to maintain order during heated exchanges between Members of Parliament over speaking procedures, questions, and points of order. The Speaker reminded MPs that parliamentary rules are not discretionary and must be followed, stressing that members were required to adhere to time limits and procedural requirements when posing questions and raising motions.
