Mayor Moves to Reassure Public Amid HFMD Outbreak

Walvis Bay Mayor, Councillor Johannes Shimbilinga, has convened an urgent meeting with the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) and the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture (MoEIYSAC) to address growing public concern following the recent outbreak of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) in local schools.

The meeting, held recently, focused on providing accurate information to the public and ensuring a coordinated response by the relevant authorities.
