Kavango West education projects gain momentum

NKURENKURU– The Kavango West Directorate of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture on Tuesday briefed the Regional Development Coordinating (RDC) meeting on ongoing school construction and renovation projects, saying the region is making steady progress despite funding and implementation challenges.

Presenting the update, Chief Education Officer for Planning and Development, Matheus Kudumo, said classroom construction, hostels and key facilities are moving ahead in several circuits.

“We are making progress with our infrastructure programme, but there is still a lot of work to be done to meet the needs on the ground,” Kudumo told delegates.
