Fifteen years ago, I stood where you are now.
In 2011, I was 19, fresh out of school, stepping into one of the biggest experiences of my young life. I remember standing backstage with butterflies in my stomach, hearing the crowd before I could see them. The stage lights felt brighter than I had imagined, and my heart raced with every step I took.
I was excited.
I was nervous.
And if I’m being honest, I was terrified.
