Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) parliamentary leader Imms Nashinge has confirmed the withdrawal of Keetmanshoop municipal councillor Pieter Skeyer from the town council, citing alleged violations of party directives.
In a letter dated 17 July 2026, seen by The Namibian and addressed to Skeyer, the party informed him it has withdrawn him as a member of the Keetmanshoop Town Council with immediate effect.
