Menstrual health is gaining national prominence, as demonstrated during a recent event hosted by the One Economy Foundation and Lil-Lets.
The event addressed challenges, long-held silence and elevated the issue to the level of a recognised public health priority. The handover ceremony of 6 000 sanitary pad packs marked the successful conclusion of Lil-Lets’ university roadshow in Windhoek, which delivered 14 activations across five tertiary institutions These institutions include the University of Namibia (Unam), the Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust), International University of Management (IUM) and Triumphant College.
