TEAM Namibia continued to make its mark at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, with swimmers Jessica Humphrey and Oliver Durand setting new national records, Luke Beukes reaching the semi-finals, and boxer Tryagain Ndevelo advancing after securing a walkover victory.
Humphrey delivered a standout performance in the women’s 100m backstroke, setting a new Namibian senior record and 17–18 age-group record with a time of 1:01.83 to qualify for the semi-finals.
