Omusati Horse Racing event geared up to go

The 17th Annual Omusati Horse Racing Competition will take place on 15 August at the Kuku Helvi Mpingana Kondombolo Horse Racing Sport Field and Recreation Centre in Onamatanga village, Ruacana constituency.

Organisers said preparations for the popular sporting event are at an advanced stage.

Chairperson of the Omusati Annual Horse Racing Preparation Committee, Johannes Shaanika, said the competition is expected to attract hundreds of horse racing enthusiasts once again from the four O regions and the Kunene region.

“The preparation of the Annual Omusati Horse Racing Competition is at an advanced level. We are now calling on all participants to register early and all horse racing lovers to prepare to come to Onamatanga and witness this enjoyable sport,” Shaanika said.
