Rundu Town Council has been facing questions over its failure to submit financial statements for several years.
The matter came to light during a public hearing by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Accounts in Rundu.
The committee questioned the council about a consolidated audit report covering the financial years that ended on 30 June 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Committee member Job Amupanda questioned why the council had still not submitted financial statements for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
