RESIDENTS of Henties Bay who rely on prepaid water meters have been left unable to purchase water after the town’s prepaid water vending system was temporarily taken offline, prompting the municipality to introduce emergency water collection measures while efforts are underway to restore the service.

The Henties Bay Municipality confirmed the disruption in a public notice issued on Friday, apologising for the inconvenience and assuring residents that every effort is being made to restore the prepaid water vending system as soon as possible.
