Enercon Namibia has been unsuccessful in its bid to have an application for summary judgement brought by the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) dismissed in a N$28.8 million lawsuit.

This follows a judgement delivered last week by Windhoek High Court Acting Judge James Devittie.
The summary judgement was granted by the judge against Enercon’s representatives, Peter Elindi and Malakia Elindi, and three other entities, jointly and severally, to pay the sum of N$28 883 752.74 to DBN.
However, the judge refused summary judgement against August 26 and Rodrigo Antero Pereira Pimenta, allowing the two to defend the matter on 23 July 2026.
