OHAMBO JATATE – Member of Parliament (MP) Vetaruhe Kandorozu says the N$700 000 from Namibians to Cuba as part of a revolutionary contribution to their contemporary political and economic situation due to sanctions is a drop in the ocean.
The donation, spearheaded by the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association and the Sam Nujoma Foundation, is an initiative aimed at responding to Cuba’s current economic and supply shortages.
Among others, the money is earmarked to produce urgently needed medical supplies and essential items for Cuba.
