Whether or not Namibia realises, its ultimate development dream will hinge largely on the execution of the Sixth National Development Plan (NDP6).

This analysis could be drawn from the launch of a five-year strategic plan in Windhoek yesterday by the National Planning Commission (NPC), officially marking the start of an enduring race to ensure that all objectives set out in NDP6 are fully attained by 2030.
Launching the NPC’s strategic plans for the 2025/26 to 2029/30 financial years, the Commission’s executive director I-Ben Nashandi highlighted that the latest planning document speaks to the ethos of the country’s long-term development agenda.
