The Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX) recorded a total trading value of N$115.3 million during the week from 3 to 7 August, with 1.89 million shares changing hands across 97 deals.

The Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX) recorded a total trading value of N$115.3 million during the week from 3 to 7 August, with 1.89 million shares changing hands across 97 deals.
The latest weekly market statistics show that the overall NSX market recorded 2.01 million shares traded, while the reporting-period change amounted to 1.26 million shares and N$106.5 million in traded value across 66 deals.

The financial sector accounted for the largest share of trading activity during the week, recording 1.43 million shares traded with a value of N$91.59 million across 61 deals.
Real estate stocks were the second-largest contributor by value, with 568 294 shares traded for N$10.19 million through 16 deals.
Consumer staples recorded 28 628 shares traded, valued at N$8.19 million across seven deals, while basic materials recorded 5,937 shares worth N$5.10 million through eight deals.
