Printing Brighter Futures: Metropolitan Donates Printer Worth Over N$50,000 to Support Education in Gibeon

Gibeon, July 02 — Metropolitan Namibia has strengthened its commitment to education and community development by donating a multifunction printer worth over N$50,000 to C. //Oaseb Senior Secondary School in Gibeon, Hardap Region. The official handover occurred on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, with Metropolitan’s Central Regional Manager Joachim van Schalkwyk presenting the donation.

The donation responds to the school’s request for assistance after its previous duplicating equipment became outdated and unreliable, making it difficult to produce learning materials and manage daily operations. The new printer will enhance the school’s ability to provide quality resources to over 670 learners and reduce administrative burdens on staff.
