Staff Reporter PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has concluded her series of follow-up visits to Government-supported Green Schemes with an inspection of the Ndonga Linena Green Scheme in the Kavango East Region, where she was briefed on strong projected maize output, ongoing winter crop production and key operational challenges facing the project. During the visit, Farm Manager Janno Rentel reported that the scheme is expecting a robust harvest this season, with maize production projected at about 4,754 tonnes from 574 hectares under cultivation. He said this marks a significant improvement compared to the previous season, positioning Ndonga Linena as the largest contributor to the Green Scheme Programme for the 2025/2026 summer cropping season.
