Staff Reporter OMUSATI Regional Governor Immanuel Shikongo has proposed that the Okapalelona crossing point, a stone’s throw from Olukekete (Etalaleko) Centre where the main Cassinga Day commemoration was held on Monday, be gazetted and renamed the Etalaleko Border Post. According to him, such gazetting will promote trade between Namibia and Angola by reducing distances to existing border posts. “From here to the Wakashamane Border Post [to the east] is 60 km, and from here to the Omahenene Border Post [to the west] is more than 70 km,” said Governor Shikongo.
