A matter in which a Kavango West resident sued the Ministry of Home Affairs for unlawful arrest over a charge of allegedly insulting a complainant using obscene language has been withdrawn in the Windhoek High Court.
The withdrawal follows a notice by Hamutenya Markus Hamutenya to withdraw the action against the defendants.
The defendants included the Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force and a member of the Namibian Police, Richard Uatemwa.
