The government has committed to reviewing customs charges and related regulations following concerns raised by ‘order with me’ entrepreneurs on Saturday.

Many entrepreneurs said high customs fees are negatively affecting their businesses.

During the engagement meeting with the entrepreneurs, Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare said the government would assess existing laws and policies to ensure they better accommodate emerging business models and support local enterprise growth.

“We must ensure that our young entrepreneurs are fully supported so that they can contribute meaningfully to national development,” he said.
