For Henry Ueitjitavi Katuuo, every learner represents a future leader, professional and nation-builder. As principal of Rietquelle Secondary School in the Omaheke region, he has dedicated his career to ensuring that young Namibians, particularly those in rural communities, have access to quality education and opportunities that can transform their lives.
His commitment to education and public service has made him a respected leader who continues to shape the future of countless learners through knowledge, discipline and opportunity.

Born in Windhoek and raised in Otjorukune in the Omaheke region, Katuuo has spent much of his life pursuing his passion for education and community development.
Armed with a Bachelor of Education (Honours) degree from the University of Namibia and a Master of Education in Science Education from Rhodes University in South Africa, he believes education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and uplifting communities.
“I am passionate about making a positive impact on young people and contributing to community development through education,” he said. Away from his professional duties, Katuuo enjoys farming and spending time with family, activities he says keep him connected to his roots and community.
