Nedbank Namibia says 91% of its customers are now actively using digital banking channels as the bank continues to expand financial inclusion and strengthen customer engagement despite a challenging operating environment.

Speaking on the bank’s first half 2026 results, managing director Martha Murorua said digital banking adoption has become a key driver of business growth, increasing transaction volumes while supporting stronger lending and deposit growth.
“We have actually reached 91% digital uptake, which has contributed to increased transaction volumes on the client side,” Murorua says.
