MCAlbert Hengari, former Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform, has struck back with vengeance, suing the young woman who accused him of rape, and several others for reputational harm, demanding a total of N$10.2 million in damages.
Hengari and his 30-year-old co-accused were arrested on 26 April 2025 after allegedly attempting to offer a bribe of N$220,000 to a 21-year-old woman who had accused Hengari of raping her in 2019, when she was still a minor.
