Former first lady and One Economy Foundation founder Monica Geingos has urged young journalists to view their work as a long-term contribution to social change rather than a tool for immediate transformation.
She made these remarks during an orientation session for the 2026 One Economy Foundation Media Fellowship Programme in Windhoek on Wednesday, where fellows from the Namibia Press Agency (Nampa), Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), The Namibian and One Africa TV were formally introduced to the programme.
