NAMIBIA and Botswana have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening regional trade and economic integration following a high-level visit to the Port of Walvis Bay, where leaders highlighted the strategic importance of the Botswana Dry Port and the Trans-Kalahari Corridor in facilitating trade across Southern Africa.

Vice President Lucia Witbooi hosted Botswana Vice President Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe at the Port of Walvis Bay, accompanied by Information and Communication Technology Minister Emma Theofelus, Erongo Governor Nathalia /Goagoses, members of the Botswana Dry Port Board and senior government and business officials from both countries.
