TRAINEES at Gemsbok Farm under the National Youth Service (NYS) have expressed appreciation for the opportunities created through the Ministry’s Namibia Integrated Landscape Approach for Enhancing Livelihoods and Environmental Governance to Eradicate Poverty (NILALEG) Project, which has generated employment and skills development prospects for hundreds of young people while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
The project has created more than 300 jobs through investments in fodder and charcoal production and has provided participants with practical training aimed at improving livelihoods and enhancing environmental sustainability.
