Walvis Bay Deputy Mayor, Councillor Miina Hangula, has called on councillors, municipal officials and residents to work together to help drive the continued development of the town.

Speaking at the Ordinary Council Meeting, Councillor Hangula welcomed residents and members of the public who attended the meeting. She said public participation plays an important role in local government and encouraged residents to continue following council proceedings and staying involved in matters that affect their communities. She reminded councillors that their responsibility is to carefully consider the items on the council agenda and make decisions that improve the lives of the people they serve.
