KAMPALA, July 5 — Another 255 Ugandan nationals returned home on Sunday, bringing the total number of Ugandans evacuated from South Africa to 560 amid ongoing xenophobic violence and anti-migrant protests.

According to the Ugandan Embassy in South Africa, Sunday’s group was the third batch of evacuees. The first flight brought back 273 Ugandans, while the second, which arrived on Friday, carried 32.
