QKR Namibia/Navachab Gold Mine has committed close to N$1.5 million towards this year’s Navachab Half Marathon, with organisers setting their sights on transforming the event into a bronze-label international road race within the next three to four years.
The announcement was made yesterday during the official launch of the 12th edition of the Navachab Half Marathon in Windhoek, where the mining company also revealed that it has increased this year’s race prize purse to nearly N$530 000, a significant jump from the N$345 000 offered in 2025.
