INTERNATIONAL tourist arrivals in Namibia declined by 3.2% between 2024 and 2025, decreasing from 1,257,093 recorded in 2024 to 1,217,108.

This was announced by the Minister of Environment, Indileni Daniel, who described the decline as a wake-up call that more needs to be done to position the country as a premier tourist destination. She made the remarks during the official launch of the 2025 Tourist Arrivals Statistics Report.
