Man runs into Zambezi River, feared dead

KATIMA MULILO – Police in the Zambezi region are investigating the suspected drowning of a man who allegedly disappeared into waters after running into the Zambezi River from a lodge in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Zambezi Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Julia Sakuwa-Neo, yesterday confirmed the incident to New Era, saying police have opened an investigation and are monitoring the situation

According to information gathered, the missing man reportedly arrived at a lodge at around 03h00 on Sunday appearing to be intoxicated.
