US ambassador highlights stronger Namibia-US partnership at Independence Day celebration

UNITED States Ambassador to Namibia Randy Berry Giordano has reaffirmed Washington’s commitment to strengthening economic and strategic ties with Namibia, saying the partnership is built on shared values of prosperity, energy security, private investment and long-term development.

Speaking at the U.S. Embassy in Windhoek during celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence, Ambassador Giordano said Namibia’s growing economic potential and development ambitions are attracting increasing international attention.

Addressing government officials, diplomats, business leaders and other guests, Giordano said his engagements with leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and innovators across Southern Africa had reinforced his belief that lasting prosperity is achieved by creating an environment where opportunity can flourish.
