KEETMANSHOOP – The Landless People’s Movement (LPM) remains defiant amid pressure from residents to reinstate former Keetmanshoop mayor Melody Swartbooi.

Speaking during a press conference at a private residence on Monday, LPM operative secretary Dawid Eigub said: “The party leadership are sitting next week. We will be able to deliberate on that issue on our way forward.”
He added that all internal processes were exhaustively followed prior to Swartbooi’s axing.
