The Namibia Training Authority (NTA) has invested N$1.1 million in seven secondary schools across the country to strengthen the teaching of prevocational (Pre-Voc) subjects.

The move is expected to better prepare learners with practical skills needed in the labour market.
The funding was officially handed over by education deputy minister Dino Ballotti, who described the initiative as a significant investment in Namibia’s future workforce and an important step towards strengthening technical and vocational education. Each beneficiary school received N$150 000 to improve the delivery of pre-vocational subjects through the procurement of practical equipment, enhancement of teaching and learning, and increased learner exposure to technical and vocational career opportunities.
