Stars academy heads to Spain

African Stars Academy held a send-off ceremony on Friday ahead of their participation in the MADCUP 2026 international youth football tournament, which will take place in Spain from 19 to 24 June.

The tournament is one of the largest youth football competitions in Europe and attracts teams from across the globe, providing young players with an opportunity to test themselves against high-level opposition, while gaining valuable international experience.

African Stars Academy captain Micah Davids said the players are excited about the opportunity to represent both the academy and Namibia on the international stage.
