THE Prosecutor General, Martha Imalwa, has brought forth a forfeiture application in which she seeks to permanently seize a vehicle linked to a man who allegedly scammed an American of close to N$1 million in a fake diamond sale.

The founding affidavit submitted by the Prosecutor General narrates tales of alleged fake identities, deception and empty promises of diamonds that would never materialise. Whilst the High Court, on 8 December 2025, granted a property preservation order, the Prosecutor General now seeks a forfeiture order for the red Volkswagen VW 360 Golf valued at N$160 000.
