President meets Chinese firm behind Hyphen project

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah met the Chinese company leading Namibia’s flagship green hydrogen project during her state visit to China.

China National Chemical Engineering and Construction Corporation Seven (CC7) was selected to design and build what is expected to become the world’s largest green ammonia plant in Namibia.

The meeting in Chengdu brought together senior Namibian government officials, Hyphen Hydrogen Energy executives and CC7 leadership to strengthen cooperation on the Hyphen Green Hydrogen project, one of Africa’s largest renewable energy developments.
