Namibia has condemned the more than 66-year economic embargo imposed by the United States of America on Cuba, describing it as a “silent genocide” at the Inaugural Fidel Castro International Colloquium in Havana on Monday.
Speaking at the event marking Fidel Castro’s birth in Cuba, Prime Minister Dr Elijah Ngurare reiterated Namibia’s longstanding historical alliance with the nation, emphasising that solidarity with Cuba is an essential and non-negotiable obligation for Namibia.
