The Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, has appointed an interim board for the Namibia Airports Company (NAC). This was after he relieved five members of the NAC Board of Directors of their duties, while simultaneously appointing an interim board to ensure continuity and stability at the entity.

NAC manages Namibia’s major airports, including the main international hub, Hosea Kutako International Airport, and plays a critical role in supporting tourism, trade and economic activities.
The directors relieved from the NAC board are Elizabeth Renay Peterson, Lucien Lleweyllyn Mouton, Matheus //Gowaseb, Carol Rosheta Williams, and Ferdinand Nghiyolwa.
