ONGWEDIVA – Namibia recorded 10 new trafficking in persons (TIP) cases between March 2025 and April 2026, up from six cases reported during the previous reporting period, Minister of Gender Emma Kantema revealed this yesterday.

The speech was delivered on her behalf by deputy minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare Linda Mbwale on Friday during the commemoration of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons in Ongwediva.
