ADDIS ABABA, June 12– The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) commended cooperation with China in Africa’s fight against the Ebola virus outbreak, as the number of confirmed cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda surpassed 650.

During an online press briefing on Thursday evening, Africa CDC Director General Jean Kaseya said the number of confirmed Bundibugyo Ebola cases in the DRC and Uganda has reached 654, with the death toll climbing to 129.
