MASHI CHIEF CALLS FOR CHIFWE RADIO STATION

The call for greater representation of indigenous languages on national broadcasting platforms is gaining momentum in the Zambezi Region, with Mashi Traditional Authority leader Mfumu Joseph Tembwe Mayuni III urging the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to consider establishing a dedicated Chifwe radio station.
