President Nandi-Ndaitwah arrives in China for State Visit

PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in Guangzhou for a State Visit to the People’s Republic of China from 5 to 11 July 2026, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, aimed at strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between the two countries.

The visit underscores the longstanding ties between Namibia and China, built on mutual respect, solidarity and shared development goals, and comes as Namibia continues its push for economic transformation through industrialisation, value addition, energy security and skills development.
