HILLSIDE FARMHOUSE – The Swapo Party recently conducted a training workshop for deployed leaders at regional and local authority councils at Hillside Farmhouse near Keetmanshoop. During deliberations, facilitator Fluksman Samuehl reminded the councillors of the fact that they are occupying positions of great responsibility. “In other words, you bear immense responsibilities for service delivery and are further required to initiate people-centred development and work towards making our towns and constituencies attractive for people to live in and to ensure national alignment with NDP6 objectives and that Vision 2030 goals are fully realised,” he said.Samuehl, who is also the CEO of Lüderitz Waterfront Development Company, said there is a lot of work cut out for the newly elected political leaders of the //Kharas region.
